President Kennedy said it best...
"Let us not seek the Republican answer or the Democratic answer, but the right answer. Let us not seek to fix the blame for the past. Let us accept our own responsibility for the future."
John F. Kennedy

Debate Preparation
Review all of the bills. On a clean sheet of paper, make a list of pros and cons for each bill. You should also record any questions you have that need to be clarified. My expectation is that you will really look deeply into the bills and formulate arguments for and against them. Try for a minimum of three items for each bill. The bills are below:
WEDNESDAY'S LESSON BELOW.
1- With a partner, read both of the following articles about renewable energy. Click the black buttons. Answer the questions on the worksheet directly below these instructions. You answer the questions for Article #1 and your partner answer Article #2. Only turn in one worksheet with both your names recorded.
2- Once you have a better understanding of this energy source, use the Bill Template below to create a bill that has to do with starting some sort of energy reform in the United States. You don't have to use wave power as your topic but you certainly may. Both of these documents should be submitted by the end of class.
3- When you are done, open the Congress Test Review from the bottom of this page. We will have a small test next week. If you finish early and need something to do, you may work on your Ch. 11 vocab which is now overdue. If that is complete, please move to the President- Roles of the President tab and start on the Ch. 13 vocab.
